ONVIF Device Manager
and Network Video Client (NVC) SDK

ONVIF Device Manager is an open-source tool to manage ONVIF-based devices such as IP-cameras, encoders and video servers. ONVIF Device Manager is also a reference design for the ONVIF NVC SDK. 

The ONVIF NVC SDK hides the complexity of the ONVIF interface and enables the rapid development of video management systems (VMS), access control, and industrial applications.

  • Implements ONVIF Profile S, and Profile G

ONVIF Network Video Transmitter (NVT)

The ONVIF NVT enables rapid development of ONVIF-compliant video devices including IP cameras, encoders, and transcoders.

  • Supports most mandatory (M), optional (O), and conditional (C) features including video analytics and PTZ
  • Offers complete device reference designs for Intel’s x86 and x64 platforms and TI’s DaVinci platforms
  • Offers optional video analytics and recording modules from Synesis
  • Supports multiple video channels
  • Designed with cross-platform C/C++, optimized for Embedded Linux

A range of production-level video surveillance products based on the ONVIF SDK, including IP-cameras, encoders, video management system (VMS), and network video recorder (NVR) are available for testing and OEM-licensing from Synesis.
